Lake Site

This site is located on the edge of Crowsnest Lake and offers six camps each summer. Two Junior camps (ages 9-11), two Intermediate camps (ages 12-13), and two Senior camps (ages 14-17). These are co-ed camps of about 80 campers each.

Our Lake Site programs put a high emphasis on the outdoors. Hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, archery, out-trips, wide games, and campfires are just some of the activities that frequent our programs. Every camper will take part in a wilderness out-trip. The program varies from session to session and is suited to the camper's age and abilities. The difficulty and length of out-trips increase as the campers' ages increase.

In addition to the six kids camps that run each summer, we also offer specialized camp programs. We run a Family Camp (all ages), Keenagers (50+), and Winter Camp (18+) out of the Lake Site. There is also an Intermediate Reunion for intermediate campers and a Senior Reunion for senior-aged campers who attended camps during the summer.

We currently offer three specialized out-trip programs that begin and end at the Lake Site. Our All Girls Out-trip (for young women aged 16-20) and the All Boys Out-trip (for young men aged 16-20) are intensive 8-day backpacking trips through beautiful parts of the Rockie Mountains in the Crowsnest Pass area. We also just added a new program called the Senior Women's Out-trip (for Women aged 40+) which is over a weekend in June.

Session Details

  • The Labour Day long weekend in September is the perfect time to get away together as a family before school starts up again. Reconnect as a family and with others in an outdoor setting; learning, playing and worshiping together.  Enjoy times of adventure as well as times of reflection and renewal as you build stronger relationships with each other and with God. Age-appropriate instruction during chapel allows everyone to benefit.

Come and experience camp as a family!

  • The May Long weekend is an excellent time to get away and enjoy time in the mountains in the spring. Camp is for the young at heart, so if you are in the “over 50 category,” don’t let your age hold you back! If you come to the Keenagers weekend, you will find out that older folk can have a fabulous time at camp too.

Keenagers certainly moves at a slower pace than many of our other camps, and there is plenty of free time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings in the company of like-minded friends, old or new. We also have two chapel sessions each day where we sing together and enjoy Bible teaching that is relevant and encouraging.

During the afternoons, you can go for a walk, play Scrabble, work with others on a challenging jigsaw puzzle, sit by the fire with a good book, explore local historic sites, play some horseshoes, go swimming in Sparwood, or have a snooze… it’s your choice. Whatever you hope to do, there is a place for you here.

So why not give Keenagers a try this year? But don’t leave it too late to make up your mind. We generally have a full house, so the earlier you register, the better!

    Registration for Keenagers:

Opens at 10:00 AM on March 15th

Please note that all Keenagers Registration will be online only. You can Register Here.

  • Each year, at the end of December, we run our Winter Camp program. It is open to all young adults 18 and up, as well as our younger summer staff like those who have completed our PIT program. It is a great time to have fun, relax, hangout with camp friends, meet new people, enjoy the Crow environment, grow in your faith, and refocus for the New Year.

There will be various outdoor and indoor activities and options planned throughout the Winter Camp program, adapted to whatever our mountain weather might hold – it is sure to be a Winter Camp to remember! Come kick off the New Year with us!
